The Media Art Programme consists of the specialist subject class and an area open for all students of the university, the “Querschnitt” (cross-section).
The academics of the programme and different guest lecturers offer seminaries and workshops on a wide variety of themes, ranging from film, video and media installation to computerbased works and soundworks.
In colloquies at regular intervals, the artistic works of the students of the specialist subject class are discussed.
Every seminary and workshop of the Media Art Programme is open for all students of the university. Thus students with the most different specialisations and expertises meet in the seminaries. Both the students of the specialist subject class and the students from other classes and programs benefit from the resultant transdisciplinarity.
